Welcome to the University of Warwick Chorus online!Important news 05/02/09There will be no rehearsal today (05/02/09) due to the severe weather we are currently experiencing A little bit about usWe are the largest Music Centre Society at the University and regularly put on performances with 150 - 250 singers. We perform various types of choral music from Brahms to Beethoven, Haydn to Handel (OK so they're not that different) and Mozart to Mahler - not to mention our recent performances of Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky and excepts from Ellington’s ‘Sacred Concerts’ - for a list of everything we've performed since June 1989 view our previous concerts page!
Our membership comprises of staff and students from the university, as well as a large number of people from the wider community who come and sing with us because they enjoy it so much. We perform three concerts a year and anyone can join at the start of each rehearsal period. We also go on tour once every two years - our most recent was to Northern Italy during March 2006. For more information about the Chorus see our 'Info' section. To our membersWe hope that this site provides a useful and interesting resource for you. If you have any ideas for items to go on the site, please contact us and we shall see what we can do.
